The County of Huron, Homes for the Aged requires a full-time
Maintenance Person to perform duties under the supervision and
direction of the Financial Manager. You will be planning, organizing
and undertaking routine maintenance activities, make inspections
and minor repairs to machinery, the building and equipment as well
as generally guiding the activities of the Handy Person.
The successful candidate will start as soon as possible and have a
willingness to work as .a. team member with other employees of the
facilities, mostly at Huronlea. This position is thirty-seven and half
hours per week with weekend shifts over winter months and you
may be required to work various shifts including evenings and
nights.
Qualifications:
• Grade 12 diploma
• Recognition courses in maintenance or stationary engineer and
other related topics preferred.
• General knowledge of computer applications (e.g. "Insight")

Employment Counsellor
The Ontario Works Department requires a full-time Case
Worker/Employment Counsellor.
The ideal candidate will bring education and experience that can
demonstrate the ability to provide service delivery for clients in
the County of Huron as part of the Ontario Works team. This
position combines income maintenance duties with an emphasis
on employment counselling. Additional responsibilities may
include completion of Childcare and Pathways applications.
The successful candidate will possess a Community College -
Social Services Certificate or equivalent. Candidates should have
a minimum of one-year experience in Social Assistance delivery
with preference given to those with Ontario Works and
Employment Programs and Counselling exposure. Knowledge of
all income maintenance programs, local social service agencies,
and components of Ontario Works is required. Preference will be
given to applicants with SDMT knowledge. A valid driver's
licence and reliable vehicle are required.

Hensall District Co-operative is currently seeking two energetic
individuals to further complement the successful team at the
Londesboro Feed Mill, Londesboro, Ontario.
FEED MILL OPERATOR
Duties include the operation of feed mill equipment in order to
process livestock feed orders, loading trucks, handling bags, and
various other duties.
Interpersonal skills in order to communicate with other employees
and customers, a mechanical aptitude and the ability to follow
instructions for the input of feed ingredients are necessary skills for
this position. A DZ licence and Grade 12 education is preferred but
not mandatory.
Truck Driver
The truck driver is responsible for providing timely delivery to
customers as per order specifications.
The skills necessary include the following: two to three years driving
skills with a minimum DZ licence and clean driver's abstract, motor
and mechanical skills to operate a feed truck plus excellent customer
relations skills. If applying please include a copy of a current driver's
abstract.
The above positions involve shift work with some weekend work
included. The compensation is a competitive hourly rate with a full
comprehensive benefit package including health, dental, and travel
