Each job will last until the end of March 2003, and will be approximately 20 hours per week, including evenings and Saturdays. The positions will be based out of Clinton, Exeter, Goderich, Seaforth and Wingham, with some travel and responsibilities in libraries in surrounding villages. You must be between the ages of 15 and 30 years old. Rate of pay is $8.00 per hour. (Casual) Cooks Qualifications - Branch 1 Cooks Certification. - Certificate from recognized cooking course. Current safe food handling course. - Experience in institutional cooking. Previous experience with the elderly an asset. Duties - To prepare and serve meals for residents, staff, visitors. - To perform general kitchen and cleaning duties in the foodservice area. (Casual) Domestic Aides - Housekeeping and Laundry Qualifications - Institutional Housekeeping/Laundry Linen Certificate an asset. - Experience in institutional housekeeping/laundry setting an asset. - Previous experience with the elderly an. asset. Duties - To operate institutional housekeeping and laundry equipment. - To perform carpet/floor and general cleaning in building. - To sort, clean and deliver resident personal laundry and linen.
