Brussels Livestock report
2,608 head on offer, trade holds steady
Total receipts for Brussels
Livestock for the week ending Sept.
27 were 2.608 head of cattle, 460
lambs and goats.
On Tuesday the fed steers and
heifers sold steady. The cows also
were selling on a steady trade. On
Thursday the good quality veal
calves sold on a steady market while
the plainer veal calves sold under
pressure. The lambs sold on a strong
active trade. On . Friday both calves

Huron and Ministry of Agriculture
and Food is being launched this
fall. With fanding from Agri-
culture and Agri-Food Canada,
this new brochure will feature
any food producer in Huron
County. Participation forms will
be mailed out to approximately
130 producers during the week of
