On Dec. 23 about 40 family mem-
bers celebrated Christmas at the
home of Keith and Bonnie Pletch
near Teeswater. Relatives attending
travelled from Guelph, Kitchener,
Fergus, Wingham and Belgrave.
Thelma Pletch spent Christmas Day
at the home of Keith and Bonnie
Pletch.
On Dec. 20 Jim and Irene Lamont
attended the wine and cheese party at
the Seaforth Manor visiting with
Irene's mother Winnie Vincent.
Irene Lamont and Ruth Johnston
attended the family Christmas dinner
at the Seaforth Manor being guests of
Winnie Vincent who is a resident
there.
Christmas Day dinner guests at the
home of Ruth Johnston were Harold
Johnston and Chester and Marilyn
MacDonald, all of Goderich and
Helen Stonehouse of Belgrave.
Jim and Irene Lamont were Boxing
Day dinner guest at the home of Mike
and Donelda Cottrill and family.
John and Linda Campbell spent a
few days at Grand Bend with Jeremy
and Justin Campbell over the
Christmas holidays.
On Saturday, Dec. 29 they hosted
their family Christmas dinner.
Relatives came from London, Merlin,
Brantford, and Grand Bend.
Doreen and Rob Roy, Christina and
Emily of Peterborough, Sheila and
Doug Cousins, Brandon and Jordyn
of Guelph, Nancy and Rick Ball,
Matthew and Alicia of Hanover,
Anne Catherine, Richard Anderson,

Christmas Day and visited over the
holidays with Barbara and Ross
Anderson.

Johnston spent a few days over
Christmas with George and Mary
Johnston and family in Ilderton.
On Sunday, Jan. 6 Bob and Jane
Grasby saw a robin in a tree in their
backyard.
Last Sunday Ruth Johnston visited
in Goderich with Chester and
Marilyn MacDonald.
On Saturday, Dec. 29 Dale and
Colleen Lamont of London and Jim
and Irene Lamont were dinner guests
at the home of Mike, Donelda Cottrill
and family celebrating their
Christmas.
Thirty-nine members of the
Anderson family met on Saturday,
Dec. 29 at the home of Anne
Catherine and Richard Anderson and
family at Goderich for their annual
Christmas dinner and family get-
together. Relatives _came from
Kintore, Arva, Guelph, Peterborough,
Edinburgh, visited Inverness and
Loch Ness but did not see the mon-
ster.
Wilma had many beautiful pic-
tures of flower gardens they had vis-
ited. The people of Scotland were
very friendly and welcomed the
tourists.

home of Bill and Muriel Coultes on
Christmas Day. Those attending were

Stephanie, Belgrave; Paul and Karen

Wightman, Autumn and Sydney of
Auburn.
The Annual _Community New
Year's Eve celebration was held in
the WI Hall, Belgrave. Cards, snacks,
music and dancing Were enjoyed by
the 45 attending.
A potluck buffet was served after
the singing of Auld Lang Syne.
The hosts for next year are Muriel
and Bill Coultes, Lois and Stewart
Chamney and Eileen and Glen
Sellers.
Mabel's Moms met at their regular
time on Wednesday, Dec. 19. Those
who attended were Linda Hess and
Judith; Lila Procter and Jessica;
Crystal Agombar, Nicholas, Gage and
Curtis Weber; Kim Higgins, Shelby
and Jarod Logan.
On behalf of the group Kim
Higgins presented Mabel with a large
poinsettia.
Their topic was Christmas con-
certs.
The next meeting will be Jan. 9.

Wheeler on the weekend.
