Hullett children express gratitude for presents
Dear Santa,
The presents you gave me last year
were very nice. This year I want a
CD. I don't care what it's called. The
next thing is a hockey book. The next
thing is a CD walkman.
Your friend, Brent Drost.
shares great ideas for seasonal style:
1. Buy tree boughs to hang on your
front door, drape over the mantle, or
weave around the staircase banister to
fill your home with a fresh evergreen
scent.
2. Make a sachet of cinnamon sticks
with holly branches and mistletoe
wrapped in festive ribbon and tuck
into a basket of white towels in the
bathroom.
3. Sew a holiday tablecloth and add
Santa's bells to the corners.
4. Make large red satin bows and
hang on all of the doorknobs or han-
dles in your home.
5. Wrap your houseplants in white
twinkling lights.
6. Put a sprig of mistletoe in the
napkins at each place setting for your
Dear Santa,
My name is Aaron. Is Rudolph's
nose still glowing? You are a nice
man. This year I would like a blue
dirt scooter that's real. I would like a
Tony Hawk skateboard that does a
radical recovery and a real skate-
board and whatever you want to give
holly branches.
8. Cut out star shapes of various
sizes and spray with gold and silver
glitter paint. Hang each star with fish-
ing line from the dining room chande-
lier for a perfect 'starry night' dinner.
9. Wrap your refrigerator with
three-inch wide satin ribbon and finish
with a bow. Be sure to start and stop
the ribbon at the door.
10. Gather long tree branches, spray
paint white and stand them in a tall
stainless steel pail. Weave small,
white lights through the branches and
finish the pail with a red bow.
11. Spoil overnight houseguests this
holiday season with their very own
stocking filled with Christmas good-
ies left on the night table.

me.
Aaron Popp.
Dear Santa,
Does Rudolph still go on trips with
you? How is Mrs. Claus? I would
like a guy who screams and please a
toy car, and please a new pillow.
Love, Michael Farr.
Dear Santa,
I hope you have enough money. I
think it's impossible to fly all around
the world in one night. But you can
and we can't. Three gifts I want — an
airplane, Nintendo game and Star
Wars characters.
From Matt Randell.
Dear Santa,
Greetings! How are you? Is
Rudolph's nose glowing? Are you
getting ready for Christmas? What is
Mrs. Claus doing? I would like a
Nirvendo and a game to play on it.
From Jonathan Atkinson.

Barbies. Could you help people who
need food? How do your reindeer
fly? I like one of those things that
Heather has - Game Boys. I'd like
some dolls. I really like crafts. Could
you help other people who need
help. I'dlike some spy stuff and doll
stuff and gel pens with a gel pen pod
and that stuff that you need on paper
and it turns white - some colours of
those and a keyboard that makes
noise.
From your best friend, Emma.
Dear Santa,
Please stop the wear in
Afghanistan and give money to
Afghanistan and Americans to repair
the twin towers and the Pentagon.
Bring toys for boys and girls in
Afghanistan and American.
Yours truly, Jeffery.
Dear Santa,
For Christmas I would like there to
be no more wars, for the World Trade
Center to be built soon, for the war in
Afghanistan to be over soon. I would
like a game for my Game Boy please
and for everyone to have a good
Christmas.
Your friend, Will Fleming.
Dear Santa,
Hi I'm Dona. I would like a snow-
board and a good Christmas and a
Game Boy. I would like to be safe
and to have a good time with your
family. To have the Afghanistan to
stop the war. To be healthy to have a
good time with your friends. I want
you to have a good flight. I'd get
those reindeer exercising. I'd get
Rudolph a new light bulb for the trip.
Afghanistan to get a lot of treats
because they fought for us. My
teacher Mrs. Pickell she's being
good by helping us read.
From Dona Teed.
Dear Santa,
Help the poor people and give
them some toys. How do your rein-
deer fly'? Here's some ideas for
Christmas presents for them: teddy
bears and stuffed animals. I hope the
people in the war can try to be safe.
Please help them too. I want a mini
skateboard for Christmas.
From, Steph.
