Interesting project
This past weekend a wind turbine was being constructed at
the Marnoch Line, East Wawanosh, property of Alex and
Pauline Gulutzen. The project took plenty of guide wires
and lots of hoisting to complete. (Vicky Bremner photo)

was first held in 1978 and takes
place every three years.
The 2002 meeting is scheduled to
take place in September at the
Charlottetown Veterinary College.
Participants will register in Halifax
on the 19th and after some sightsee-
ing will travel to PEI for the formal
proceedings on .the 21st. and 22nd.
This year's theme is Shorthorns - A
vital link in the global beef industry.
The post conference activities will
allow participants to enjoy extensive
tours of Canada if they wish. The
eastern Canada tour will travel
through New Brunswick, Quebec
and end up in Ontario. The western
tour will start in Winnipeg, on Oct.
