PAGE 11. Agriculture Brussels Livestock report Lambs sell $5410 higher Thursday Total receipts for the Brussels Livestock for the week ending Aug. 24 were 2,399 head of cattle, 328 lambs and goats. On Tuesday fed steers and heifers sold on a good strong active trade. Cows sold on a steady trade. On Thursday lambs sold $5 to $10 high- er with the veal selling on a strong active trade. Friday all calves and yearlings sold on a steady market. There were 550 steers on offer selling from $109 to $112 with sales to $123.75. One limousin steer con- signed by Larry Ryan, Centralia. weighed 1,360 lbs. which sold to Norwich Packers for $123.75. His overall offering of forty-eight steers averaged 1.497 lbs. selling for an average price of $112.05. Mark Fisher, Ayton, consigned one limou- sin steer weighing 1,360 lbs. selling to Norwich Packers for $122 with his overall consignment of three steers averaging 1,262 lbs. selling for an average of $115.11.
