RECREATION DEPARTMENT
RECREATION - FACILITY OPERATOR
We require a self-motivated, customer service oriented individual
with recognized experience in the operation of ice arena and
swimming pool facilities. The Recreation - Facility Operator
position will be responsible for the varied aspects of operation a
multi-purpose recreation complex. Duties include ice installation,
maintenance, refrigeration plant operation, swimming pool
filtration, water chemistry and maintenance/janitorial functions.
Hours of work include rotating shifts including evenings and
weekends. Salary scale $11.94 to $14.92 per hour.
Qualifications:
• General knowledge of equipment and building maintenance
• Must have minimum Grade 12 Secondary School education
• Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems is required
• Must hold or be willing to obtain Basic Refrigeration certificate
• Knowledge and experience operating swimming pool and
filtration system
• Valid driver's license
• Must hold or being willing to obtain a current First Aid and CPR
certificate

which will be of interest to individuals who are highly
motivated ar.d respond positively to challenge and
change.
As the new Clerk-Treasurer, you will report to the
Reeve and members of Council and provide overall
direction and day-to-day operational leadership to the
township. You will require a well-polished knowledge
of legislative requirements, finance and accounting,
communication, problem solving, policies and
procedures development and implementation. As well,
a proven experience with a variety of computer
applications„ is a requirement.
The successful candidate must hold, as a minimum, a
Certified Municipal Officer or AMCTO designation; a
minimum of five years experience in a municipal
senior management position, and strong interpersonal
and management skills to work with peers, support
staff, Council and the public.
The Township offers a competitive salary and benefit
