MANNING. I'd like to thank Dr.
McCalden and his operating room
staff for their expertise in both
operations at University Hospital.
Also thank you to Clinton Hospital,
Dr. Salsbury and wonderful nursing
care I received there. A big thank
you to Community Nursing
Services for their many trips to our
home. I'm also very thankful to the
ambulance drivers who brought me
to London from Clinton, in one of
our worst winter storms. A big
thank you to neighbours, family,
friends for phone calls, cards,
treats, flowers, food brought to the
house, books and their many visits;
to Rev. Dow for visits, and prayers.
I'd like to thank Judy and Ken
Shortreed for their help over the
winter. To Norman McClinchey for
VCR tapes I played over and over
again — it sure helped kill some of
those winter blues. Most of all I
want to thank my wife of 49 years,
Muriel for her wonderful nursing
