Thirty-six members, guests and former members were present. Margaret Hildebrand thanked her for the delicious Meal. Everyone received a gift. Marion Haggitt gave a reading and carols followed. Rev. Paul Ross led for the singing and Marjorie McDougall was pianist. A The Sunday School was completely in charge of the third Sunday of Advent service on Dec. 13 at Knox United Church, Auburn. Ann Vincent, Sunday School superintendent, was in the pulpit. The third Advent candle was lit by the Durnin family. The preschoolers under direction of Linda Plaetzer, sang Away in a Manger followed by the kindergarten group doing He Cares for You. A skit "Let Your Star So Shine", Christmas message was given by Rev. Ross. Ethel Ball introduced Bernice Jewson, who showed pictures of Ethiopia. Mrs. Jewson had lived there and recently returned for a visit. She spoke about past and present conditions. After the pictures Ruth Jardin, now of Blyth, gave some readings.
