The sales at Brussels Livestock for the week ending July 3 were: fed cattle, 602; cows, 176; veal and bob calves, 384; lambs arid goats, 166; stockers, 626. Fed steers and heifers sold on a steady trade with the cows selling $2 higher. On Thursday the veal traded on a steady market, and also the lambs traded steady to last week. All classes of stockers sold steady. There were 254 steers on offer selling from $92 to $96 to the high of $105. Thirty-five steers con- signed by Kada Farms, Bluevale, averaging 1,389 lbs. sold for an average of $95 with sales to $104. Seven steers consigned by Bill Mainland, Arthur, averaging 1,359 lbs. sold for an average of $90.29 with sales to $97.
