Often, the answers to why there is a good crop or ayoor crop at harvest comes from what is happening in the field. Watch especially for things that can be corrected now, to help improve your bottom line. The dry conditions this spring have led to some unusual wrinkles in the cropping field. Nutrient deficiencies are showing up in more fields than normal, simply because the nutrients and the roots haven't been able to meet up. Most fields will grow out of it, given time and some moisture, while a few will need to be sprayed with foliar micronutrients to kick start Dublin, averaging 1,143 lbs. sold for an average of $91.60 with sales to $95.75. Weed control with pre-emerge herbicides has been inconsistent in some fields, because there was not enough rain to activate the herbicide. Respraying may be necessary, but the window for control can be quite small for some weeds, so you have to be on top of where things are. Complicating this is that both crops and weeds have more leaves than we would expect from the size of the plants. The wide fluctuations in temperatures have also put stresses on some crops. It takes careful observation to sort out the effects of a disease or insect from reaction to environmental stresses.
