administration for all eight
hospitals. It is expected this
committee will report back by mid-
June.
An update on th€ progress of the
system-wide changes to the
Nutrition and Food services that are
being implemented in all eight
hospitals was given.
In response to some concern
about incorrect information that
had been released about the
potential savings that could be
achieved by the partnership, it was
clarified that the net savings would
reflect the data contained in the
April 1997 District Health Council
Report. That report said that
Administration and Program
Support efficiencies could total
$3.4 million from the 1995/96
expenditure level.
The area, Colborne Twp., Con. 7,
Part Lot 17, is in a floodplain and
could affect septic systems and
water quality.
There were no objections with
regards to a severance application
for Conc. 1, Lot 18, pending appro-
priate rezoning.
Additional connections to Storey
Drain were approved by council.
M. Dietz Ltd, Conc. 6, Lot 4, with
1.5 hectares, and Burns Acres Ltd,
with 2.5 hectares, will be allowed
to make the connection. R.J. Burn-
side and Associates will prepare the
report.

as office support staff was accepted
by council.
