Jim and Marj Coultes welcomed

trip to Australia. She gave lots of
interesting facts and figures about
the continent of Australia and
showed on a large map where her
travels had taken her. Joan Peterson
also had travelled some years ago
to Australia and she added to the
program with slides and
commentary.
Everyone was entertained by a
humorous story of "Daniel at the
plants," she said. "No matter how
far away we are from God, he can
make us come back to life giving
us the love and care we need. When
we stay close to God we can green
up and be like the resurrection
plant. God always gives us new life
by watering us so we can be
healthy and green again, opening
up to God and helping others to
open up."
The flower arrangement in the
sanctuary was placed by Carol
Jamieson and family in loving
memory of her father John Beane.
