Other Blyth points were racked
up by Derek Youngblut (two) and

allow Brussels to retake the lead 20
seconds later.

and Kellington, completed the play.

middle frame, Clinton again tied
the score.

in game 1
On Friday, Feb. 27 Thedford and
Brussels Juveniles played game one
of the OMHA semi-finals in
Brussels. The coaching staff had
heard rumours that Thedford was a
fast -skating club with good
goaltending. Thedford did live up
to the rumor as they skated to an 8-

the visitors were up two goals.
Brussels had no luck in putting the
puck in the net. With less than a
minute remaining Thedford h ad a
3-0 lead after one period.
In the second period Thedford
scored two more. Brussels players
had numerous scoring opportunities
but could not put the puck in the
net as they were starting to wonder
if the Thedford goalie had brought
his lucky horseshoe with him.
In the third the visitors tallied
three more for a convincing 8-0
win.

March 1 in Thedford. The Brussels
players were determined that this

action until Thedford tied the game
with 1:27 remaining in the game.
This set the stage for overtime.
Thedford's Henry scored 1:04 into
overtime for his second goal -of the
game to give Thedford the victory.
This was. a great team effort as
the boys stepped up the pace to
give Thedford all they could
handle. Chris Bromley made many
excellent saves to keep the Brussels
boys in the game.

support of their fans at this game,
