Wheels Away increases $3 per ride
Wheels Away President Vicki
Piluke attended the Feb. 17 session
of council to discuss funding for
the year.
With the annual contract up for
renewal, Piluke said the base rate
of $241 would remain the same
though she asked council to support
a per ride fee increase from $2 to
$3 as provincial funding had been
eliminated.
Funds would also be made up
through fundraising and foundation
grants.
Council accepted the increased
fee rate and asked that the contract
be drawn.
