Krista Richmond wins slice of pizza

At the last student council
assembly Krista Richmond's name
was drawn to win a slice of pizza.
All the people who handed their

April 26 at 2:30 p.m. in Gorrie.
The District Annual is May 12
with 9:30 a.m. registration in
Bluevale. The speaker is Les
Turvitt.
The County Rally theme is "Dem
Bones". Registration is at 9 a.m. on
Oct. 5 at Walton Hall with a noon
potluck luncheon.
Jean Bell gave the treasurer's
report.

Kindergarten "A" went to visit
the post office and. saw where their
mail box is. They also saw where
all of the mail is stored when it
comes in. They learned how to
send a letter to Mr. Morton about
how he fixed their sink.
Grade 1 is learning about squares
and rectangles. They got new
reading buddies with Grade 6/7.
Last Friday during reading buddies
they read a story Why the Bear has
a Stumpy Tail.
Then they made some cardboard
bears and decorated them.
Grade 2 got new phonics books.
They also celebrated 100 day (their
100th day at school). They got
together with Grade 1 and did a lot
of crafts like making crowns and
necklaces. The necklaces had 100
beads.
Grade 3 is doing area and
perimeter in math. They are
flipping, turning and sliding shapes
to see the difference. They are
