Brussels PS news Krista Richmond wins slice of pizza By Megan Teeft and Laurie Prior At the last student council assembly Krista Richmond's name was drawn to win a slice of pizza. They got new reading buddies with Grade 6/7. Last Friday during reading buddies they read a story Why the Bear has a Stumpy Tail. Then they made some cardboard bears and decorated them. Grade 2 got new phonics books. They also celebrated 100 day (their 100th day at school). They got together with Grade 1 and did a lot of crafts like making crowns and necklaces. The necklaces had 100 beads. Grade 3 is doing area and perimeter in math. They are flipping, turning and sliding shapes to see the difference. They are Continued on page 17
