Councillor Stuart Alton also declared a conflict with regards to the report which included a revised preliminary cost estimate and assessments for the proposed new municipal drain at Lots 16-20, Cone. 12 and Lot 16, Cone. 13. Following discussion the report was adopted by council. Maitland Engineenng Services Ltd. is to pre pare a final report. Alton and Miller returned to council table. Land owner Petrus Oudshoorn, contractor Dave Franken and a few ratepayers discussed a construction proposal for the addition to an existing bam at Lot 25, Cone. 3. Councillors reiterated earlier con cerns with regards to the addition’s proximity to the road. Historically winter maintenance has been a problem with damage being done to the existing barn doors in the past. Also the nutrient management plan must meet OMAFRA’s review criteria and the existing drainage <tile has to be dealt with. Councillors said they would like to see the expansion and have the property owners also discuss the- possibility of a minor vairance.
