My young contributors, Ben and
Sammy Jo Fretz, this time joined
by Gage Shepherd, their little
neighbour from across the road,
stopped me as I was working in the
garden last weekend and wanted it
known that they had been a whole
day to the Plowing Match last
Friday. Ben reported on all the
machinery he had seen and which
he would like his father to
reproduce for him.
Actually many neighbours in
Cranbrook attended the event. I
was too busy writing this column.
It anyone in the Cranbrook area
wants to assist the hall board with
the running of the euchre parties
please contact Sheila Evans at 887-
