The study is subject to funding approval under the Groundwater Protection Fund of the Ontario Ministry of Environment. The consultant will work with and report to the management team on all aspects of the study, including refinement and interpretation of groundwater recharge/sensitivity data, selection of pilot study areas, development of sampling protocols and recording standards, selection of parameters and laboratory for testing, selection of main study areas, training of field researchers, analysis and interpretation of results, and report writing. The consultant will have substantial hydrogeological experience and strong familiarity with and knowledge of the County, preferably including related work experience in the County. The ability to work with a steering committee will be an asset and references are required. Expressions of interest should not exceed 2 pages in length, plus an attached list of relevant projects and references. The expression of interest will be reviewed to determine recipients of a more detailed Request for Proposal. Jewitts usher Greeters at Londesboro United Church on Sunday, Sept. 5 were Margaret Good and Edythe Beacom. Ushers were John and Barb Jewitt. The theme of the service was work The sympathy of the community is extended to Sylvia and Bob Trick on the passing of Sylvia’s dad, John Sanderson of Blyth. at church in scripture and song. Crossbow stolen in Grey On Aug. 31 at 8 p.m. a theft was reported on Sideroad $60-6 I of Grey Twp. The owner of a pickup truck had gone for a walk in the bush and left the vehicle parked on the side of the road locked. Sometime between 6:45 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. the driver’s side window was smashed and stolen from the truck are Tasco binoculars and an Excaliber crossbow valued at over $750. The only vehicle seen in the area around that time was a grey Jeep. Anyone who can help police recover the stolen property is asked to call the Huron OPP Detachment or Crime Stoppers.
