The July meeting of the Cheerio
Club was held on Wednesday, July
24. There was a lunch at Bayfield's
Little Inn, then members proceeded
to the trailer of Genevieve Allen at
Pine Lake. Genevieve welcomed
everyone. There was a minute's
silence in memory of Laura Lyon, a
WI member.
Roll call was taken up with eight
members present. The minutes of
the June meeting were read. Thank
The next euchre tournament will
be held at Londesboro Hall at
8 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 9.
The August meeting of Londes-
boro WI will be held at the Hall at
2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 12. There
will be progressive euchre and a
Elizabeth Procter. Lay minister,
Elly Van Bergen conducted the
service. Margie Gordon supervised
the nursery. "Song-time" included
you was read from the Lyon family
and Edythe.
Edythe gave the treasurer's
report. The draw, donated by Vietta
Hoggart was won by Audrey
Thompson. Collection and draw
money was taken up.
Edythe Beacom gave events for
July. Audrey read on being a senior
citizen.
Cards were played.
The next meeting will be
Group II.

Joyful. Prayer of reconciliation was
repeated in unison, followed by
words of assurance responsively
and a sing response Come Almighty
to Deliver.
The men of the choir sang Tell
Me The Old, Old Story.
The responsive psalm was 128
followed by the singing of the
hymn Open My Eyes.
Romans 8: 26-39 was read.
Harvey Van Bergen read the
scripture Acts 18: 1-4, 18-21,
followed by the sermon, "A Letter
from Priscilla", and another
scripture, Romans 8: 1-4. Everyone
stood and repeated the Affirmation
of Faith, the Creed.
Hymn Close to Thee was sung.
The offering was received by
Joyce Vincent and Ken Procter and
the offertory song All That I Am
followed.
Prayer of Thanksgiving was
given responsively. Lila Procter
and little Jessica were remembered
in prayer.
The closing hymn was / Love
Thee. Commissioning and
Responsive Benediction and the
song Until We Meet Again brought
