I liked the presents you gave me last year, especially the Barbie truck. This year I would like a ball, teddy bear, Continued on page 22 W ✓ ✓ z I I Big news Santa's (Ben Procter) decision to take some time for himself and play hockey got things at the North Pole a little behind schedule, prompting a news team, cameraman Sean Cook and reporter Jesse Mullen, to interview him and find out what it was all about. "Slapshot Santa Scores Again" was performed by the kindergarten, Grade 1 and Grade 2 classes at East Wawanosh Public School Dec. 16. Other performances were "Christmas Around the World by Grades 6 and 7, Coventry Carol and Santa Baby sung by Grade 8 and "Have a Joyous Christmas" by Grades 3/4 and 4/5. DEAR SANTA, This year I have been pretty good, And I am trying something new! I'm giving a little bit of me ... And expecting less from You! Santa I let Matt Shiell hold my baby sister Judith because he wanted to. My dad and I take turns feeding the pigs. My steel shovel at home, the comer is bent. It doesn't scoop very good any more. My sandbox needs to be made into piles because it's getting stiff. And if there's room inside your sack, And you are wondering about me, I'd really like to see my own baseball and mitt and a beast war, Under my Christmas tree. Storm Trooper Puzzle. 3. Canadian Tire Tractor trailer truck. 4. A car with rechargeable batteries. 5. Nerf gun (for fun!). 6. Magic Markers. For my mom I would like a candy cane.
