Martin, Clifford, averaging 1,194 lbs. sold for an average of $85.53 with sales to $92.75. Fifteen steers consigned by Don Shiell, Wingham, averaging 1,427 lbs. The fed steers and heifers sold at prices $2 lower, with cows selling on a steady trade. Veal and lambs both sold on a steady trade on Thursday. On Friday all classes of stockers sold steady. There were 377 steers on offer selling from $84 to $88 to the high of $96.75. Thirteen steers consigned by Schmidt Brook Farms Inc., Woodstock, averaging 1,431 lbs. sold for an average of $89.35 with sales to $96.75.
