4-H Beef Club members meet at Coulteses’
By Corey Rintoul
The Brussels, Belgrave 4-H Beef
club had its sixth meeting on
Friday, Sept. 5 at 7:30 p.m. at Paul
Coultes's house. Corey Rintoul
brought her 4-H calf to Paul's so
that the 4-H members could take
turns leading the animal. Each
member did a great job at
presenting the calf to 4-H leaders,
Paul and Kim.
When everyone was finished, the
members went into the house
where they wrote the exam to
complete this year of 4-H. The
young people acknowledged Paul
Coultes and Kim Higgins for taking
the time and effort to make this a
successful year. Hopefully
everyone that was involved this
year will come back and maybe we
will get some new people as well.
The Brussels Fall Fair was a
great success even with the very
wet weather. Everyone did a very
good job at showing and presenting
their animals to the judge.
