WILLEM ANTONI FIDOM Willem Antoni Fidom, of RR1, Belgrave, passed away suddenly, June 19, 1997, at Wingham and District Hospital. He was 67. A farmer in East Wawanosh Twp. and member of the Blyth Christian Reformed Church, Mr. Fidom was bom in Vorst, Holland to Hendrik and Maria (Kastelein) Fidom. He was the beloved husband of the former Anna Quackenbush, dear father of Henry and Alva Fidom of Vanastra, Kenneth and Nancy Fidom of Ingersoll, Brian and Helena Fidom and Steven and Laura Fidom, both of London. Mr. Fidom was the loving grandfather of Chad, Chris, Cody, Amanda, Rhonda, Mike, Jason, Ben Saman­ tha, Lincoln, Keira and Skylar. He was the dear brother and brother-in-law of Antoni Fidom of RR1, Clinton, Clarence Vanderlei of Parry Sound, Georgena McBumie of Ingersoll, Rosaletta Csepei of Ingersoll and Keith Quackenbush of Cornish. He was predeceased by his par­ ents and sisters, Ruth Vanderlei and Gerrie Fidom. The funeral service was held, June 23, from Blyth Christian Reformed Church, with Pastor Jack Quartel officiating. Pallbearers were Jim Bakelaar, Jim Campbell, Eldeu Cook, Merv Datema, Murray Scott and Ken Shortreed. Interment was at Brandon Ceme­ tery. Arrangements were handled by Beattie-Falconer Funeral Home, •Blyth. Keith And Jo-Anne Homan of Goderich spent a little time at Bainton Gallery, Blyth, June 20, appreciating the artistry of Andres Villar, before the gala opening of Blyth Festival Theatre's 23rd season.
