DUANE NETHERY Duane William Clarence Nethery, five-month-old son of Andy and Tammy (Parsons) Nethery of 115 Adelaide St., Mitchell passed away suddenly at his residence on Saturday, Feb. 22, 1997. He was born in Stratford, Aug. 28, 1996. Surviving besides his parents is his sister Karyssa, at home, his grandparents, Bill and Sally Parsons of Mitchell and Bill and Dini Nethery of RR 1, Belgrave, his great-grandparents Sylvia Parsons of Staffa and Penelope Jouwsma of Brussels and an aunt Dianne Nethery, her fiance Ken and daughter Jessica of Blyth. He was predeceased by his uncle Duane Parsons (1989). Friends were received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Monday from 7 - 9 p.m. where the funeral service was held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Gerry Brown officiating. Spring interment will be in Woodland Cemetery, Mitchell. BILL WHEELER Bill Wheeler of Brussels passed away at University Hospital, Lon­ don, on Tuesday, Feb. 18, 1997, in his 69th year. He was the beloved husband of Delores Wheeler, loving father of Dale and Judy Wheeler of Granton, Murray and Cheryl Wheeler of Londesboro, Scott and Lori Wheel­ er of Strathroy, Todd and Darlene Wheeler and Dean Wheeler, all of Brussels, and loved grandfather of nine grandchildren. Mr. Wheeler was the dear brother of Ross Wheeler of Toronto and Jack, Bob and George Wheeler, all of Brussels. The funeral service was held at Betts Funeral Home, Brussels, Feb. 20. Rev. Christine Johnston of Brussels United Church officiated. Spring interment will be at Brus­ sels Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers were Gor­ don Workman, Dick McQuarrie and Bob Draper. Mr. Wheeler's five sons will act as pallbearers at the spring interment. In remembrance, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Brussels United Church General Fund would be appreciated by the family. Oddfellows Lodge #149 held a memorial service, Feb. 19. MARGARET DINSMORE Margaret Lillian Dinsmore, the former Margaret Locking, beloved wife of Robert Dinsmore of Howick Twp., passed away at Palmerston and District Hospital on Monday, Feb. 17, 1997 in her 56th year. She was the dear mother of T.J. and Jerry both at home. She is also survived by her mother Gladys Locking of Brussels, four sisters Ethel and her husband Amzie Metzger of Kitchener, Elaine and her husband Richard Underwood of Kitchener, Joyce and her husband Bob Alexander of Ethel and Velma Locking of Brussels, two brothers Robert and his wife Janet and Ralph Locking, both of Brussels. She will be remembered by her in­ laws David and Jean Dinsmore of Fordwich, Jack and Betty Dinsmore of Trowbridge, Jean Ashley and Doris and Ron Ashley of Listowel. Friends were received at the Garrett Funeral Chapel in Clifford until noon on Thursday, Feb. 20, 1997 then to Knox United Church, Clifford for funeral service at 2 p.m. The pallbearers were Hugh Litt, Don Murray, Robert Hymers, Robert Dunn, Lyle Foerter and Derril Hallman. The flower bearers were Jean Locking and Barbara Bowles. Spring interment will be in Fordwich Cemetery. EMYLENE M. STEISS Mi ss Emylene M. Steiss of Cranbrook passed away at Stratford General Hospital on Thursday, Feb. 20, 1997. She was the daughter of the late Lewis Steiss and the former Mary Ann Stewart. She is survived by a sister-in-law, Ruby Steiss of Brussels and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by five sisters Orma, Lola, Iona, Lydia and Mae and one brother Alex.
