Peters kept Clinton off the board
while his teammates pushed 10
across the line.
Scorers in the first were Nathan
Witherspoon and Ryan McClin-
chey. Assisting on the plays were
McClinchey, Drew Crawford and
Neil Salverda.

The Brussels Bulls played a
home-and-home series with the
Wiarton Wolves this past weekend
with mixed results. The Bulls were
hoping to come out of the weekend
with four points but instead,
coming up against a hot Wiarton
team, had to settle with one point
for the weekend.
As per usual the Bulls tallied first
when at 18:11 Grant Jarvis,
packing a howitzer, drilled one by
the Wiarton goalie assisted by
Brian McNichol and Brett Fischer.
At 17:03 Ryan Wright scored to
make the score 2 - 0 for the Bulls
assisted by Steve Henderson and
Darin Alviano. Two power-play
goals by Wiarton got the score even
before Alviano scored short handed
at 7:27 of the first to give the Bulls
a lead into the first intermission, he
was assisted by Dan Sinclair and
Wright.
The second period saw Wiarton
open the scoring 19 seconds in then
score three more before Alviano
got his second of the game assisted
by Henderson and Wright at the
5:59 mark. The second period
ended with Wiarton in front of the
Bulls 6 - 4.
The Bulls got to within one at
12:23 when Henderson scored
assisted by Wright and Alviano.
The Bulls came within whispers of
breaking this game wide open, but
topped off the Blyth attack.
Kernighan, Kyle Campbell and
Salverda put the puck in the net
with Fischer. and Kemighan assist-
ing on the final two.
The journey south to Zurich,
Dec. 7, was profitable as Blyth
came out on top, 3-2.
Trever Koehler got a natural hat-
trick, scoring first at 6:42 of the
first, assisted by Crawford.
Zurich evened the score in the
second before Koehler took his
squad ahead again in the third
scoring on a solo effort at 11:27.
Jumping to a 3-1 lead, Mc
Clinchey put the puck on the stic
for Koehler with less than seve
minutes remaining.
with missed opportunities and a
lucky Wiarton goalie, the final
score of the game was Wiarton 8
and the Bulls 5.
Sunday afternoon saw Wiarton
return to Brussels for the last time
this season with the Bulls looking
for a little revenge. Once again the
Bulls opened the scoring when, on
a power-play, Alviano lifted the
puck by the Wiarton goalie at the
14:06 mark. He was assisted by
Henderson and Wright.
The score remained 1-0 into the
second period when Wiarton tied
the game, then took the lead before
the Bulls could re-group and get the
equalizer at 4:24. Jason Heipel
scored, assisted by Sinclair and
Josh Alexander.
The weekend turned out to be
very frustrating for the Bulls who
outshot Wiarton in both games with
Sunday's total being 47 shots fired
at the Wiarton net minder to
Wiarton's 30 shots being fired at
the Bulls Dan Balog.
The only game for the Bulls this
weekend will be in Hanover on
Friday night at 8:30 p.m. The next
home game will be on Sunday,
Dec. 22 against Mt. Forest and then
the following evening, Monday,
Dec. 23 secs the Wingham Ironmcn

holding their lead after Zurich
scored at 4:15.
