UCW celebrates holiday season Blyth UCW meeting was held on Tuesday, Dec. 3 at 8 p.m. with 22 present. Emily Phillips, president, opened the meeting by welcoming all and reading a poem "Special Friend." Pat Sparling and Alma McCallum had the devotions and read several Christmas poems. Hymns Silent Night and It Came Upon the Midnight Clear were sung with Elva Brown at the piano. Kate Huntley and Christa Cameron favoured with a Christmas duet. Emily Phillips conducted the business. The UCW purpose was read in unison. Roll call was Multiple sclerosis usually strikes people aged 20 to 40, in the prime of their lives. Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada 1-800-268-7582 answered by a verse with "Food". Emily thanked all who helped in any way during the last year and wished all a Merry Christmas. Lenora Davidson gave the topic on diabetes, which was very informative.
