THE CITIZEN, WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 27, 1996 WILLIAM HARVEY McCLURE William Harvey McClure of Seaforth passed away peacefully while on vacation in Alberta, at the Daysland Health Centre on Saturday, Nov. 23, 1996 in his 84th year. Harvey McClure was a longtime farmer from McKillop Twp. He will always be remembered for his sense of humour, love of family and zest for life. His beloved wife was the late Bessie Eveline Callum (1990). Together they raised eight sons and one daughter. He is the dear father of Bill and Sharon, Laverne and Nita, Fred and Heidi and Edward all of McKillop Twp., Clyde, Stanley and Donna of Hullett Twp., Neil and Cathy of London, Rae of Forestburg, Alta., Carolyn and Gerald Johns of Usbome Twp. He is also survived by 18 grand and three great-grandchildren. Harvey was the eldest brother of Sam and Mary McClure, Nelson and Fern McClure, Marg Carter, Bob and Dorothy, Walter and Muriel McClure, Mavis and Percy Dalton and sister-in-law Dorothy McClure. He was predeceased by his parents, William McClure and Emmaline Storey and two brothers Bert and Jim. Friends were received at the Whitney-Ribey Funeral Home, 87 Goderich St. W., Seaforth on Monday, Nov. 25 from 7 - 9 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Duffs United Church, Walton on Wednesday, Nov. 27 at 2 p.m. Rev. James Murray is officiating. Pallbearers will be Bill, Laverne, Clyde, Rae, Fred and Edward McClure. Flower bearers will be Neil, Stan, Darrell, Robbie McClure and Mathew Johns. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Walton Hall, Seaforth Community Hospital or Duff's United Church. GLADYS LAURA CAMPBELL Gladys Laura Campbell of West- field passed away at Wingham and District Hospital, Sunday, Nov. 17, 1996. She was 80. Born in Hullett Twp. to the late John and Elizabeth (Youngblut) Good, she was the dear mother of Reverend John and his wife, Betty Campbell of Camrose, Alberta, Ralph and his wife, Nancy Camp- bell, James and his wife, Marilyn Campbell and Eric Campbell, all of RR3, Blyth. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Laura Camp- bell of Olds, Alta., Douglas and Caroline Campbell of London, Heather and Dan Snell of RR3, Blyth, Cheryl Campbell of Zurich, Kevin, Robert, Stephen and Melis- sa Campbell, all of RR3, Blyth and one great-granddaughter, Rachel Snell. Mrs. Campbell was predeceased . by her husband, Albert Douglas Campbell (1989), sisters Dora Ella Good, Elizabeth McDougall and Frances (Miller) Head, brothers, Robert, Wellington, William, Edward and Russell Good and one grandson, John Douglas Jr. Pastor Came of Auburn Mission- ary Church officiated at the service which was held at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Wingham, Nov. 20. Flowerbearers were Cheryl Campbell, Melissa Campbell and Heather Snell. Pallbearers were Douglas Camp- bell, Dan Snell, Kevin Campbell, Stephen Campbell, Brian Walden and Douglas Smith. Honorary bear- ers were Franklin Campbell and Eric Lord. Interment was at Blyth Union Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Gideon Bible Plan or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciat- ed as expressions of sympathy. ROY KENNEDY Roy Kennedy of Caressant Care Nursing Home, Listowel, formerly of Fordwich, passed away, Mon- day, Nov. 18, 1996, at the nursing home. He was 85. He was the beloved husband of the late Norma Johnston and Mari- an Dinsmore, loving father of Vera and Elwood Koepke of Palmerston, Marion and Russell Behms of RRI, Listowel, Jean and Leon Schneider of Fordwich, Betty and Don Koenig of Listowel, Bruce and Ellen Kennedy of Fordwich, Gerald and Doreen Kennedy of Fordwich and Elaine and Walter Bender of Mississauga and step-father of Dave and Jean Dinsmore, Jean Ashley, Bob and Margaret Dins- more, Doris and Ron Ashley and Jack and Betty Dinsmore. Mr. Kennedy was the loved grandfather of 24 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by grandchildren, Peggy Schneider-Ruttan, Bryan Schneider, Lyle Koepke and one great-granddaughter, Krista Steven. Mr. Kennedy was the dear broth- er of Allen Kennedy and the late Gertrude Jordison. Rev. Jagger of Fordwich United Church officiated at the service from Betts Visitation Centre, Gor- rie, Nov. 20. Pallbearers were George Koenig, Mark Kennedy, Randy Bender, Lorne Behms, David Myer and Glenn Koepke. Theresa Dorrack, Laurie Myer, Loraine Bender, Diane Steven and Kathy Kennedy carried the floral tributes. Interment was at Fordwich Cemetery. In remembrance, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Smoking Students at F.E.
