The girls enjoyed working on greenhouses, colouring booklets as well as planting cucumbers, toma- toes, popcorn and pumpkin seeds. Nicole Meier and Bridgette Kellington worked on their cyclist badge. Bridgette also worked on her pet keepers badge, while Camerra Yuill was tested for athletes badge. Sing-songs and playing games brought the evening to a close. 44 gather for euchre games There were 11 tables of euchre in play on Wednesday, May 15 at the Women's Institute Hall. Winners were: high lady, Jean Pattison; second high lady, Viola Edgar; lone hands, Marj Coultes; low lady, Helen Dougherty; high man, Helen Martin (playing as a man); second high man, Ruth Johnston (playing as a man); lone hands, Stuart Chamney; low man, John King.
