Hullett accepts
plowing tenders
In preparation for winter, which
arrived early, Hullett council
accepted two tenders for snow-
plowing in the township at the Nov.
7 meeting.
At a rate of $27 per hour, Bill
Roy will plow Sideroad 20/21,
Conc. 9 and Don Knott, at a price
of $35 per hour, will clear the
streets of Alma. Larry Mayberry
and Sons will clean the lot at the
municipal office for $20 plus GST
per job.
Two bylaws were passed to
change the zoning of agricultural
property. Part Lot 24, Conc. 14,
will go from Restricted Agriculture
(AG2) to Agricultural Small Hold-
ing (AG4-3) and Part Lot 36, Conc.
12 from General Agriculture (AG1)
to General Agriculture-Special Pro-
vision (AG1-7).

Company for a new disc mower, at
the price of $6,526.20, was accept-
ed by council.
Reeve Tom Cunningham and
Clerk-Treasurer Bev Shaddick
were authorized to execute docu-
ments for an easement in favour of

metic landscaping cleanup associat-
ed with Dungannon Drainage
Works, will be completed in the
spring, West Wawanosh council

TOMBSTONE STOLEN
On Oct. 3 unknown thieves
entered Blyth Union Cemetery at
Hullett Twp. and removed a white
marble angel tombstone. The site
marks the area of a victim's
daughter, who was killed in 1958
when she was six years old.
THEFT OF' ATV
An ATV was stolen from a
residence at Conc. 5 Morris Twp.,
RR 4, Brussels between Sept. 22
R.J. Burnside and Associates
were appointed to apportion the
assessment on Riley Drain charged
against Lot 2, Conc. 8, due to sev-
erance.
Council will notify CHuMS Cor-
poration that council is in agree-
ment that CHuMS transportation
system will not be established as a
result of the province not providing
an annual operating subsidy and the
right of purchase of the bus current-
ly ready for delivery is transferred
to Huron Adult Day Centre.
CHuMS board of directors will
continue to function to wrap up
unfinished business and will remain
dormant for a period of two years
by meeting the requirements of a
corporation such as an annual
meeting and filing an annual return.
Reeve Cunningham was nomi-
nated to run for election on the
board of directors of the ROMA
insurance program.
The road and general accounts
were approved for payment in the
amounts of $23,120.50 and
$54,936.58 respectively.

$139.10 was approved after
Deputy-Reeve Robert Szusz
declared a conflict of interest.
