Hullett calls tenders In response to two letters sent to Hullett council for the Oct. 17 meeting, both requests for support were granted. Council supports the Huron County Board of Education's efforts with the provincial govern- ment for education finance reform as well as a request from Stanley Twp. for changes to the assessment on trailer parks. Blyth Fire Department's intention to purchase a rescue vehicle was Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Campbell attended the graduation ceremony at Fanshawe College in London on Friday, Nov. 3. Their son, Chris Campbell, graduated from the Construction Engineering Tech- nology Management Course. Congratulations Chris from relatives, friends and neighbours. The Brownies and Sparks met at the Belgrave Community Centre on Thursday, Nov. 2. They enjoyed making angels for the craft sale There was a good turnout for the October meeting of the Belgrave WI. After the Opening Ode and the Mary Stewart Collect, Norma Moore introduced the guest speaker, Marguerite Thomas, public health nurse from Brussels. The topic was on "Being a Grouch", giving many reasons why people can be grouchy and what can be done about it. After a lively and humorous discussion, Norma thanked Marguerite. The business meeting followed with plans being made for catering to two Christmas dinners and also Congratulations to several Bel- grave area athletes who competed in cross-country recently. Melina Hussey finished 44th at 13.36 minutes and Kendra Folkard was 77th at 14.24 minutes.
