Nineteen ladies attended the
Majestic Women's Institute

Sauve opened the meeting with a
reading on "The animal in man".
Convener Leona Connelly
introduced the guest speaker,

still wanted to be involved with

on the different cultures. This was
demonstrated by a number of
stories which she presented to the'•
members, while being dressed in a
related costume.
One story told is based on a plate
named the Blue Willow, which
depicts the King's home, the
building which imprisoned his
daughter, a boat and two birds in
flight. She is also interested in
finding the stories relating to the
plate series the Pink Tower and the
Blue Tower.
Leona Armstrong thanked her for
her interest and enthusiasm in
history which enlightened the
members to want to learn more.
Business brought up included a
donation to the poppy fund and

couple of items brought up.

from the Canadian Indian," was
answered with basket weaving,
canoes, beadwork and arrowheads.
Ruby Steiss left the members
chuckling with numerous "Smiles",
she read.

"Home is the golden setting in
which mother is the brightest
jewel." She closed with a
