The east coast musicians are currently promoting their newest CD. The Ontario Agricultural Museum comes alive as Ontario's bountiful harvest is salted, smoked and pickled during Harvest Celebration, Sept. 2 to 4. The aromas of preserving fill the air as costumed interpreters bring practices of the past to life. Smoking and salting meat, sausage making, cider pressing, pickling and jam making provide food for winter months ahead. Children's activities, wagon rides, farm animals, flax processing and more make a visit to the Ontario Agricultural Museum an enjoyable one for the whole family. Highlights of this year's Harvest Celebration take place on Sunday, Sept. 3. A mini farmers' market gives visitors the chance to take home some of Ontario's finest honey, fruits and vegetables, herbs, and unique country crafts. To reach the Ontario Agricultural Museum take Highway 401, exit Guelph Line or Highway 25 north and follow the signs. The Museum is open daily 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. until Sept. 24.
