One thing I want you all to
remember is to have a plan for the
future that will guide you to
success. We have been proud of
our school through the years. Now
we hope that our school will be
proud of us as we pursue our goals
and ambitions towards the future
whatever they may be. Good luck

Mr. Talbot, fellow graduates,
teachers, family and friends, we
would like to welcome you to our
special evening.
Tonight we graduate from public
school and after nine long years at
Hullett we can breathe a sigh of
relief.
But let's not forget that we didn't
get here alone. Without the support
of our parents we wouldn't be here
right now.
We also had the support of our
teachers. I doubt ,that we will ever
forget them, each in their own
special way.
We had Mrs. Walter for two
years. She taught us two things we
will never forget: the alphabet and
how to read.
Mrs. Radford was our Grade 3
teacher. She loved board games and
taught us how to play chess,
backgammon and many other
games.
No one could ever forget Mr.
Gingrich's unique sense of humour;
as he taught us all about computers,
he made many jokes. He also was
the coach of the senior boys' soccer
team.
I don't think I could have written
this speech without receiving the
guidance in creative writing from
our Grade 6 teacher Miss Wyatt.
she was one of the nicest and best
teachers we had.
Our class discussions in Grade 7
with Mr. Medd taught us lessons on
life that you can't find in any
textbook. He prepared us for high
school as if he was a Grade 8
teacher.
How could we ever get our
projects done without having our
librarian Mrs. Pletsh to give us
books on our topics. Some of us
even had her as a teacher in one of
our many split classes.
Our music and choir teacher,
Mrs. Bosman always let us have an
opinion on what we should sing.
We will miss having her as a music
teacher.
The newest member of the staff
is Mrs. Kolkman, our secretary.
One of the people who doesn't
get enough recognition is our
caretaker Mr. Bosman. Could you
imagine cleaning up after over 250
kids? I would like to thank Mr.
Bosman for all of his hard work at
our school.
Our principal Mr. Jewitt has
taken a stand in our school's safety
by bringing in a zero tolerance to
violence rule. He is also very active
in our school curriculum.
Last but not least our Grade 8
and my favourite teacher, Mr.
Talbot. Mr. "T" as we like to call
him did a great job of teaching each
subject. He was also active in our
sports program here at Hullett.
Mr. Talbot was the cross country
and boys' 3-pitch coach. We have
faced and met many challenges
with these teachers and we look
forward to the new challenges we
will face in high school.
We have made friends in
kindergarten that we still have
today, but we have also made new
ones and lost some along the way.
Probably one of the hardest things
in life is losing a friend. But it is
also hard for some people to make
new friends. We will have our turn
to try it as we enter high school.

never let us quit.
Parents were also there. They
-were there to help us and push us to
our limits. Although it didn't feel
like it at the time, now we know
they were just doing what's best for
us.
But best of all there were our
friends. Some of us have been
together since kindergarten and
others we have picked up along the
way. During my school life here I
would have to say that friends are
the best part.
I know that it is important to look
back but it's also important to face
the future!
