Jake Palmer lives alone and unloved on the
edge of town and on the margins of society.
His battle to get a driveway to his ramshackle
house leads him into the conundrums of
town politics, romance, and some of the great
questions of the coming millennium. A
humourous fable by the author of Garrison's
Garage and The School Show.
IN FROM THE
;; C BARN
by Ted Johns
AUGUST 29TH - SEPTEMBER 9TH
Aylmer Clarke first took refuge in his barn
in 1977 to escape the forces of change and
early retirement. Resisting the pressure of
his son to expand and modernize, the advice
of his doctor to relax, and the temptations of
his wife to visit the Old Country, he holed up
with his cows, chickens and pigs.
After a sold out run in '94, Barn is back.
Enjoy Aylmer's views on politics, farming,
and the foibles of the '90's!
