Another reading and a hymn closed the devotional portion of the meeting. Gay thanked everyone who took part. The business was conducted by Renee Snell who gave a reading, THEFT CLINTON Sometime between 4 p.m. April 16 and 6 a.m. April 17 a person entered the laundromat at 343 Victoria Street in Clinton, and attempted to pry open the coin section of a washer. The attempt was unsuccessful but damage was done to the washer. Renee closed the meeting with the Mizpah Benediction. UCW meets The May meeting of the Londesboro UCW will be held on Monday, May 15 at 8 p.m. in the Sunday School room. Roll call is items for Camp Menesetung. Most needed items are R1T, for tie dying balloons, umbrellas and Canadian Tire money. The UCW will be holding a bake sale at the yard sale on May 20. Donations are needed. Greeters at Londesboro United Church on Sunday, May 7 were Gladys and Ida Leiper. Ushers were Debbie and Jason Hoggart. The sermon was "Searching for the Common Thread." The sacrament of baptism will be celebrated next Sunday. Junior choir will be presenting music for the family service. Senior choir practices are 10:30 a.m. on Sundays, May 21 and 28. Thanks was extended to Andrea Postma, Jessie Haak, Mariana Roy and Dana Cooper for their contribution of music to the service.
