THEFT CLINTON
Sometime between 4 p.m. April
16 and 6 a.m. April 17 a person
entered the laundromat at 343
Victoria Street in Clinton, and
attempted to pry open the coin
section of a washer. The attempt
was unsuccessful but damage was
done to the washer.

UCW meets
The May meeting of the
Londesboro UCW will be held on
Monday, May 15 at 8 p.m. in the
Sunday School room. Roll call is
items for Camp Menesetung. Most
needed items are R1T, for tie dying
balloons, umbrellas and Canadian
Tire money.
The UCW will be holding a bake
sale at the yard sale on May 20.
Donations are needed.
Greeters at Londesboro United
Church on Sunday, May 7 were
Gladys and Ida Leiper. Ushers were
Debbie and Jason Hoggart. The
sermon was "Searching for the
Common Thread."
The sacrament of baptism will be
celebrated next Sunday. Junior
choir will be presenting music for
the family service.
Senior choir practices are 10:30
a.m. on Sundays, May 21 and 28.
