4-Hers study
antiques
At the Walton 4-Hers third
meeting, they met at Dianne Baan's
and opened the meeting in the usual
manner.
They talked about antiques and
how much they are worth and also
about things that were passed down
from ancestors.
For the remainder of the night
members could either stitch a little
quilt or learn how to tie a quilt.
On Monday, April 24, the
Walton 4-Hers went to the Van
Egmond house in Egmondville to
learn about the pioneers and the
history of the house.
They also saw many antique
items and artifacts. It was both an
interesting and informative
evening.
On Monday, May 1, the club
held its fifth meeting, at Dianne
Baan's house.
First they opened the meeting as
usual, then learned how to make
fettuccini alfredo. For the
remainder of the night they planned
a Victorian tea party.
The next meeting will be the
Victoria Tea on May 22.
