N0K 1W0 ROBERT GORDON JOHNSTON Robert Gordon (Bob) Johnston formerly of RR 1, Clinton, died at Huronview on Sept. 19, 1994. He was in his 89lh year. Bom in Hullctt Twp. on Nov. 9, 1905 he was the son of the late George Johnston and Mary Jane Williams. He was married on Nov. 9, 1925, in Clinton, to Bertha Eno. Mr. Johnston was a retired farmer. He worked on the railroad and later for the Heinz Pickle Co. for many years. He was an avid hunter, trapper and conservationist. He also helped in founding the Ontario Trappers Association. Along with his wife Bertha, Mr. Johnston is survived by his children, Ena Hill of Summerhill, Frank and Dorothy Johnston of Londesboro and daughter-in-law Geraldine Dale of Londesboro. He was predeceased by one son, Ervin Johnston in 1978. Mr. Johnston is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Viola Hallam of Lucknow, and one sister-in-law Mrs. Gladys Johnston, Blyth. Also surviving are 10 grandchild­ ren and 12 great-grandchildren. Mr. Johnston was predeceased by several brothers and sisters. A funeral service was held at Beattie-Falconer Funeral Home in Blyth on Wednesday, Sept. 21. Interment is in Blyth Union Cemetery.
