Oct. 2 is world wide Communion Sunday and the Rev. Ted Wcllingham of Palmer­ ston will be speaking, The UCW is having its pot luck supper on Oct. 5 at 6:30 p.m. The Sunday School campers who were sponsored by the UCW will be invited to give a report on their experiences. Grade 3s study trees Good driver Gary Earl, an employee of Grey Twp. and its Fire Chief took top honours at the first MTO Safety Truck Rodeo held for municipal employees in Stratford, Sept. 21 and 22. There were 57 participants from Huron, Perth and Wellington. Using a single axle dump truck such as the one pictured, Mr. Earl finished first of all the Huron drivers then one point ahead of the top driver from each of the other counties to claim the trophy. Jillian competes in the front and back crawl, breast stroke and butterfly. She will compete in meets in Niagara Falls, Toronto, Ottawa, London and Vanastra. Joyanne Van Vliet and Duane Dcrrcck were married Sept. 17 in St. Catherines. Guests from Walton and Brussels area attended. Joyanne is the daughter of Jan and Joan Van Vliet. The Construction Value is estimated to $2 Million. When completed the North Building will operate as a headquarters for the County Library distribution service. Health Care and Home Care Services. The South Building will undergo base building improvements. There is a significant landscaping component to the work. You are invited to submit your Statement of Pre qualification. Please limit your Statement to a maximum of 12 pages, including personal references. As a minimum, the following must, be provided: name, address and brief history of the firm. - profiles of key personnel that will be assigned to the project. - relevant recent experience during the past 5 years on projects of similar size, including the name of the project, contact person and construction value, and - name of bank and manager.
