Parade please join us.

Vernon Zehr was the guest
minister al Brussels Mennonite
Fellowship on Sunday, Sept. 25.
He based his message on Genesis 8
and on Psalm 90. He related life to
the seasons. We only have one
chance at each stage (or season) in
life. We cannot tum back but must
live with our past. However, God
forgives us any errors or sins in the
past and we must forgive ourselves
our past mistakes. We can
remember the good things from our
past. Moses taught us to number
our days so that we will live them
to the fullest at the time.
Mark Hiller was worship leader
for the service. Joy-Ellen Green
wood played for the offertory.
Nancy Elliot-Greenwood, Phailop
Larprom, and Lucy Hesse were in
charge of the congregational
singing.
On Tuesday evening the Ladies
Fellowship Group and friends,
enjoyed a talk and book display by
Eleanor Kyvcnhoven of The Gift
Chest in Wingham. Mrs.
Kyvenhoven gave an interesting
taik about the lives of the authors
of some of her favourite books.
Mary Baan, Pat Pietrik, and Sharon
Freeman were in charge of the
evening.
Preparations are being made by
the Missions Committee for the
Self-Help Craft Sale coming up in
October.

the Island Queen was spectacular.
The residents stated they enjoyed
this thoroughly. The weather co

magnificent. This was the first time
an overnight excursion had been
done.
The residents are looking
forward to taking another trip next
year. One Huronlea resident has
requested Nashville be the
destination next year. Who knows!
