A hard haul Remembering the past
Jim Downs of Sarnia gave the weight a good pull and was
able to capture the win in his class of the antique tractor
pull. Mr. Downs drove a 1938, 20 hp, John Deere.
Everyone attending the 33rd Annual Thresher Reunion and Hobby Show had a chance to
reminisce with the owners of the steam engines and to enjoy the workmanship which went
into building and maintaining the machines.
Who has the highest pile?
That was the question to be answered as some local student took part in young people's
activities at the Thresher Reunion on Sept. 9.
Moving along
The people movers were a big hit at the Thresher Reunion
as they allowed guests to view all the exhibits in the site
without wearing out the feet.
