Glen Farms9 open house to benefit theatre Local entrepreneurs, David and Judie Glen of Glen Farms, are mak­ ing a concerted effort to bring the Listowel area theatre goers back to the Blyth Festival. The Ethel area couple will be hosting the second annual open house July 24, at their rural home, to promote other local businesses, to gather donations for CMHA Community Kitchens and Farm Relief and most of all, to reacquaint the residents of east Huron, north OPP report area accidents Wingham OPP were called to two minor accidents on County Road 12 north of Brussels within a few short hours last Friday morn­ ing. Mrs. Glen says the event is designed to have the feel of an after-perfor­ mance reception. Artistic Director for the festival, Janet Amos and her husband, actor/writer/director Ted Johns will attend the event to mingle with the expected crowds. Mrs. Glen asks that those attend­ ing the open house bring a non-per­ ishable food item for donation to the CMHA Community Kitchen and Farm Relief. "Last year's open house drew 250 to 275 people and we gathered over 200 pounds of food," she says. "It is hoped we can top tjiat number this year." The open house runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on July 24 at Glen Farms, located on Huron Cty. Rd. 19, between Ethel and Moles worth.
