For a taste of the medieval or a few Celtic
tunes there will be no better place to be on
the Aug. 12 weekend than Harbour Park in
Goderich.
The Earth, Air, Fire & Wind: Celtic Roots
Festival will feature the best of Irish,
Mr. Robinson says, "We wanted a festival
which focused on the Celtic aspect instead of
offering a little of everything. It was
something we wanted since Huron County is
heavily settled with Irish, Scottish, Welsh
and English."
Waterloo showcases an amazing young
fiddler; and Tranby Croft, a London based
trio.

Just a few of the activities for the entire
family to enjoy will include Celtic story
telling, shadow puppets, a boffer pit, step
dancing, highland and Irish dancing,
instrumental workshops, harpists and pipers.
And all of that takes place before you get
to the craft tables.
Warren Robinson and his wife Eleanor of
Goderich, conceived the idea of a Celtic
festival last year in an effort to create the

than 35 performers as well as 36 hours of
workshops on Saturday and Sunday.
Some of the featured artists are:
Killikrankie, a Scottish group featuring a
flutist and fiddler; Irish singer Finola
McGinty from County Down; The Glenelg
Full Moon Country Dance Band from Owen
Sound; Homespun, a local group featured on
CBC's Ontario Morning; Failte from FESTIVAL

Artisans, crafters, painters, photographers and sculptors from all over Ontario and other parts of
Canada come to Goderich to display and sell their creations. There are special displays, food events,
cultural events and dozens of other Tourist attractions in this picturesque and historic Port town.
