Cowbell Brewing Co., in
partnership with Great Lakes
Helicopter (GLH), is pleased to
announce the launch of a new
helicopter transportation service to
Cowbell Brewing. Beginning
Saturday, June 22, guests are now
able to travel from Grand Bend to
the Cowbell Farm by helicopter
every Wednesday to Sunday.
Great Lakes Helicopter, of
Breslau, is a Transport Canada
approved, Ontario Private Career
College Flight Training School and a
charter company. With their
operation based at the Region of
Waterloo International Airport,
in the heart of southern Ontario,
Great Lakes Helicopter is a
perfect match to showcase Huron
County.
“The Great Lakes Helicopter team
is excited to announce this new and
unique service, in co-operation
with Cowbell,” says Bill Leyburne,
owner of Great Lakes Helicopter.
“Our two local companies are
working together to create
memorable experiences for every
Cowbell guest, whether they live
down the road, or half-way around
the world!”
Flights depart from Grand Bend
and travel along the beautiful Lake
Huron coastline. Once guests arrive
at Cowbell Brewing, Canada’s
first destination brewery, they are
invited to take a VIP guided tour of
the brewery, enjoy a local farm-
to-table meal and award-winning
craft beer. The return flight will
showcase the rolling fields of
Huron County, a bountiful
agricultural area, dotted with small
towns and villages.
Helicopter flights will be available
for custom charters, and scheduled
flights. Helicopters will vary from
three-passenger to six-passenger
machines, with custom flight
packages beginning at $75 per
person. Return tickets from Grand
Bend to Cowbell will start at $299
per person.
