PAGE 14. THE CITIZEN, WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 15, 1993.
On the afternoon of Sunday, Dec.
12, the congregation of Knox
United Church in Belgrave was
treated to the annual Sunday
School Christmas concert.
The first performers of the day
were the children of the
Kindergarten class who presented a
number entitled, most appro-
priately, "God's Little Angels".
Harmony Spivey then sang "Gloria
Deo''.
The next class to make the stage
was the Grade 1/2's who presented
"The Best Gift" with each child
decked out as a colourful Christmas
package. They were accompanied
on the piano by Anne Spivey, as
were many of the performers that
afternoon.
Scott Folkard then sat down at
the piano and played ''We Three
Kings of Orient Are". He was
immediately followed by Nathan
Spivey, who also demonstrated his
skills at the piano with a piece
entitled "Trains".

carols were sung until Santa arrived
at 8 p.m. to help give out the gifts.
Court Whist was played while the
children played with their toys.
To bring the evening to a close
Debbie (Craig) Hakker had made
and decorated a 45th wedding
anniversary for Harvey and Audrey
Edgar who celebrated their
anniversary on Nov. 21.
Relatives were present from
Tavistock, Petrolia, Aylmer,
London, Blyth, Lucknow and
Wingham.
The entire congregation joined in
the singing of "Silent Night, Holy
Night" and another excellent
concert came to a close.
