and Angie Konarski

CHRISTMAS TREAT
On Friday, Dec. 3, the grade 7

Muppets Christmas Carol". It was
about Scrooge and how he hated
Christmas.
At the end of the movie, Scrooge
turned into a nice man instead of a
mean man. He gave presents to
everyone. Before he wouldn't give
any presents away.
Next week the Grade 7's are
looking forward to seeing "Free
Willie".

In math the Grade 7's paired up

from. They had half an hour to buy
anything they needed for their new
home.
HONEST, IT'S THE TRUTH
By Andrea Vandendool
Recently the Grade 7 class has
written tall tales to their parents or
teachers. Some were about why
they never had their homework
done and others were about how
the window got broke. Some were
very funny.
PINATAS
By Maegan Rinehart
Everyone in Mrs. Radford's
Grade 2/3 class made pinatas for
Christmas. They represent reindeer,
ornaments and numerous other
items.
In Mexico the children enjoy
taking turns breaking the pinatas.
They are blindfolded when trying
to break them. After the pinatas
have been broken, the children
scramble to pick up the gifts that
were hidden inside.
