Blyth pays share of twp. fee The confusion occurred follow- ing the Oct. 28 meeting when coun- cil voted to increase the stipend from $250 to $300 which they felt the representative deserved. Clerk Helen Grubb told council that the East Wawanosh clerk con- tacted her after reading of the deci- sion in a report in The Citizen to inform her that East Wawanosh may bill Blyth for a portion of the special meeting fee that the town- ship pays the representative in addition to a stipend of $250. After learning of this at the Nov. 10 meeting councillors agreed to hold off on the increase until further dis- cussion could be held.
