PUBLIC MEETING CONCERNING A
PROPOSED ZONING BY-LAW AMENDMENT
TAKE NOTICE that Council of the Corporation of the Village of
Brussels will hold a public meeting on Monday, May 3, 1993 at
7:00 p.m. in the Village of Brussels Municipal Office to consider
a proposed zoning by-law amendment under Section 34 of the
Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990.
The north portion of Lot 415, R.P. 192 is changed from R1
(Residential Low Density Zone) to FD (Future Development
Zone). A portion of the southeast corner of Part Park Lot I, R.P.
192, Is redesignated from FD (Future Development Zone) to R1
(Residential Low Density Zone) (See attached map).
Applications for Severance B20/93 and B21/93 apply to the
subject lands. These applications for severance had the effect
of creating one new lot for residential development with a
frontage of 30.5 m (100 ft.) on Elizabeth Street; a depth of 40.2 m
(132 ft.) and a lot area of 1,266.3 sq. m (13,200 sq. ft.). This lot
conforms to the minimum zone regulations of the R1 zone. The
applicant has re-oriented the shape of the property to create one
lot for future residential development. A single family residence
and a utility shed are proposed to be established on this new lot
recently created by consent. That portion being rezoned FD
(Future Development Zone) will be added to the area of the large
property known as Part Park Lot I, Registered Plan 192.
This by-law amends Zoning By-law 16-1987.
ANY PERSON may attend the public meeting and/or make
written or verbal representation either In support of or in
opposition to the proposed zoning by-law.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION relating to the proposed by-law is
available for inspection during regular office hours at the Village
Clerk's Office.
DATED AT THE VILLAGE OF BRUSSELS THIS 7TH DAY OF
