and Kathleen Forster.
Sorry to hear that Mrs. Jean Jardine is a
patient. in St. Joseph's Hospital, London:
' Mrs. Jardine was admitted to Wingham
with a.broken hip and was later transferred
to London, and has been in hospital for
about. two weeks.
Congratulations to Wayne Phillips and
Kim Rae. They were married at St. Peter's
Anglican Church, Lucknow on Saturday
with reception at the Legion.
We are sorry to hear that Mary Porter is
not in the :best of health and was admitted
to hospital for tests.

The November meeting of the Lucknow
Women's Institute was held in the Town.
Hall on Tuesday, November 13.. Twenty-
eight members and four visitors enjoyed a
delicious dessert provided by the commit-
tee incharge, namely, Noma Campbell,
Rhoda MacKenzie, Ruth Helm and Isabelle.

Noma chaired the meeting for' the
program, and read a poem entitled,
Friendship Road. The motto, 'Good Humor
is Health to the Soul, was given by Rhoda
MacKenzie.
Edith Webster played two piano solos.
Rev. Marilyn Letson was the guest
„ speaker. She told about her experiences as
a former public health nurse and' of her
teaching nursing and of her decision to

become a Christian minister. Her talk was
most interesting, and she told how she
enjoys small friendly villages like ours.
